Target Audience
Anfeald’s Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response (HAZWOPER) Site Worker Refresher course, HAZ 314, or its equivalent, is for personnel who participate in non-emergency hazardous substance clean-up operations, who attended a 40-hour HAZWOPER initial course in the last 12 months, and need annual refresher training.
Summary
This course satisfies annual refresher requirements for site workers and allows them to continue to continue to work at hazardous waste and hazardous material clean-up sites. It does not cover personnel engaged in emergency response operations related to hazardous materials releases, without regard to the location, including industrial emergency responders, nor to personnel engaged in work at hazardous waste treatment, storage, and disposal (TSD) facilities.
This course is classroom only and does not include the three-days of field experience required by 29 CFR 1910.120(e)(3)(i) and 1926.65(e)(3)(i).
If you are looking for emergency-responder HAZWOPER training, please refer to Anfeald’s HAZ 900 training series, including HAZ 902: HAZWOPER Hazardous Material Technician (24-hour). Hazardous Materials Technicians respond to, mitigate, and clean up hazardous materials releases at industrial facilities including manufacturing, midstream and upstream oil and gas, and other facility types.
If you require TSD HAZWOPER training, please email your needs and we will follow-up with you.
