Target Audience
Anfeald’s Incident Command System (ICS) 300 course, HAZ 907, is for private industry learners assigned the incident commander role or other other command or general staff role during private-sector responses to hazardous materials releases, including industrial chemicals and crude oil spills, who need to specifically meet ICS 300 competencies.
Summary
This course is for private-sector personnel who manage responses to hazardous materials incidents as incident commanders or other ICS command or general staff role. It prepares learners to function within the ICS system, in unified command, and manage type 3 hazardous materials incidents.
Successful completion meets the training requirements for both ICS 300 and HAZWOPER incident commander curriculums when learners complete the prerequisites. It uses learning outcomes and content from ICS 300 training by the US Fire Administration (USFA) National Fire Academy (NFA), the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), and HAZWOPER regulations.
Useful for HAZWOPER command and general staff to help prepare them to work in unified command.
