PIT 201: Powered Industrial Truck Operator Safety – Classroom
Who Is It For
Anfeald’s Powered Industrial Truck Operator Safety – Classroom training, PIT 201, is for personnel who operate forklifts and similar powered industrial trucks and require initial certification. This is classroom training only.
Class Description
Forklift training and certification involves three steps: (1) Classroom training, (2) Practice under the supervision of a trained operator, and (3) Operator evaluation. PIT 201 is classroom training and covers step 1. It includes regulatory-based and practical knowledge. It excludes operator practice and evaluations (steps 2 and 3). The client must arrange practice time for each operator outside of class, under the supervision of a previously certified operator, or request time from Anfeald to help (see PIT 301). PIT 201 is not a certification class – PIT 301 is also required if you intend Anfeald to evaluate and certify operators.
